Mainz, March 8, 2007 – Acting as Arranger and Agent, Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WIB) provides financing in the amount of € 42 million for the “Graphisoft” office park in Budapest, Hungary.

The office park is located in the 3rd district, on the banks of the river Danube and right at Szentendrei Boulevard, one of the arterial roads of Budapest. The style of this business park is reminiscent of a university campus. Twelve buildings of different size are scattered over an area of some 82,000 m². Apart from offices, the 25,000 m² of lettable space also feature a cafeteria and a restaurant. The offices are let to a multitude of different tenants, amongst them many household names such as SAP, Microsoft, Servier and Graphisoft Software.

The borrower Graphisoft Park, a stock listed company, was founded in 2006 as the result of a spin-off by the software company Graphisoft. Graphisoft had initially developed the park for their own use. However, because of its location and the campus-like atmosphere, the park soon attracted other national and international tenants.

WIB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and the center of competence for all of the group’s real estate financing and transactions. In addition to its offices in Mainz (headquarters) and Münster, it has national operations in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Mannheim and international operations via a branch in London as well as representative offices in Madrid, New York, Paris and, since January 1, 2007, also in Warsaw.
