Mainz, 31 January 2008 – Emil Kajer (32) has been appointed manager of the new Prague office of Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WIB) from 1 February 2008.
Kajer worked for five years in the Real Estate division of the Czech BAWAG Bank, most recently as head of the Commercial Clients department. He had previously held a number of positions at HVB Bank in the Czech Republic. He holds a degree in Economic Sciences from West Bohemia University. 

By establishing a new office in Prague following the opening of its first central European office in Warsaw at the start of 2007, WIB is strengthening its position in another key growth market and underlining the bank’s proximity to its client base. The Czech Republic is a significant property market in Central and Eastern Europe alongside Poland and Hungary.

Headquartered in Mainz, WIB is the centre of competence for all real estate financing and structured real estate transactions in the WestLB group. WIB is represented in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mainz, Münster, Munich and international in London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Warsaw and Prague.
