Mainz, 13 March 2008  –  Mike Ghaemmaghami is to head up the new subsidiary of Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WIB), Tokyo-based WIB Real Estate Finance Japan K.K., with immediate effect.

Mike Ghaemmaghami began his career in 1987 in the Equity Analysis and Investment Banking division of WestLB in Japan, moving in 1997 to the Credit Risk Management business unit in Singapore. He took over managerial responsibility for the APAC region in 2002, and in 2004 was appointed Chief Risk Officer APAC.

WIB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and the center of competence for all of the WestLB group’s real estate financing and transactions. In addition to its national offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mainz, Muenster and Munich, it has international operations in London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Prague, Warsaw and Tokyo.
