Claus-Jürgen Cohausz to become a new member on the management board at WIB

Board member Klaus Neuhaus goes over to NRW.BANK

Mainz, 24.11.2005 - Subject to the consent of the board, Claus-Jürgen Cohausz (51) will be appointed to the board of management at Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank (WIB) on the 1st January 2006.  He will be taking over from Klaus Neuhaus (54), who has been appointed to the management at NRW.BANK on the 1st January 2006. Then the management board at WIB will consist of Hubert Beckmann (48), who was appointed chairman of the board on the 1st October of this year, and  Claus-Jürgen Cohausz.

"We very much regret the decision of Klaus Neuhaus to leave the board of WIB, but we would nevertheless like to thank him for the commitment he has shown. While in office he has made a crucial contribution to changing course over to the new direction being taken by WIB. His seat will be taken over by Claus-Jürgen Cohausz, an experienced real estate specialist, who has acquired a big reputation while building up and expanding WIB", is what Dr Norbert Emmerich, chairman of the advisory board at WIB had to say about him.

After studying law, Claus-Jürgen Cohausz began his professional career at WestLB in 1984. At WestLB he held a number of different positions in building finance. In 1995 he changed over to become a head of division as the Secretary to the Management Board  / Group Development for the newly established WIB. As head of the Loans Processing division, he was responsible from 1996 onwards for international investment business, which developed in the following years to become an important mainstay of WIB. He was appointed executive manager on the 4th November 2004. In his new role he was responsible for sales in the corporate investor business in Germany and in other countries.

The WIB is based in Mainz. It is a 100% owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and it is the Center of Competence for Real Estate Financing within the WestLB group. In addition to its offices in Germany, it also has international offices in London, Madrid, Paris and New York.
