Mainz, 7 October 2005 -  Adolfo Favieres (34) has been appointed manager of the Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank (WIB) representative office in Madrid with immediate effect. He is responsible for developing and expanding the real estate business in Spain and Portugal.

Adolfo Favieres was previously Director of Structured Finance and Investment Banking with Hypo Real Estate Bank International Madrid.

Before that he was employed in various capacities at KPMG Madrid, Arthur Andersen Real Estate, Global Corporate Finance and Tishman Speyer Properties, Madrid.

With its headquarters in Mainz, Germany, WIB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and is the Centre of Competence for Real Estate Financing within the WestLB Group. In addition to its branches in Germany, it is represented internationally by a regional head office in London and representative offices in New York, Paris and Madrid.
