Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank changes its logo

Mainz, October 1, 2008 – Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WestImmo) changes its logo with effect from October 1, 2008. Instead of “Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank”, it is now referring to itself as “WestImmo”. The picture mark that indicates its membership of the WestLB group has been retained.

“In making this change”, Peter Knopp, chairman of the managing board of WestImmo says, “we are responding to suggestions from many customers and business partners who found Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG too long and cumbersome for use. This is why the abbreviated form WestImmo has already become established, especially internationally. We have therefore been happy to meet requests to have this short form as a logo also.”

The logo changeover does not apply the trading name, which remains Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG. Also the change of logo does not affect the content and objectives of WestImmo either.

“In other words”, says Peter Knopp, “WestImmo is the center of competence for real estate financing and structured real estate transactions  -  reliable and flexible, offering rapid loan decisions, far-reaching networks and country-specific know-how available locally in the key real estate markets.”

WestImmo is a wholly owned subsidiary of WestLB. It has offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Mainz, Münster and Munich and is represented in London, Madrid, New York, Paris, Prague, Tokyo and Warsaw.
