WIB financing “Nile House” in Prague

Mainz, January 18, 2007 - Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WIB) has provided € 41 million for the refinancing of a Class A office building in Prague, Czech Republic.

The building known as the “Nile House” is situated in a prime location within a new office park on the bank of the river Vltava. The “Nile House”, which was developed and is currently managed by Europolis, was completed at the End of 2005. It offers around 18,940 square meters of lettable floor space as well as underground parking for 214 cars. The building is let to well know tenants, such as Deloitte, Procter & Gamble, and the Ford Motor Company on a long-term basis.

Europolis’ Nile House project already received three awards, with the most recent being the Grand Award “Central and Eastern European Building Design of the Year 2005“. The financing of the “Nile House” is the latest Europolis mandate that WIB was able to win, after having already provided financing for other Europolis projects, such as the Sienna Center in Warsaw, Poland. The new transaction can thus be considered another milestone in the excellent partnership between the two companies.

WIB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and the center of competence for all of the group’s real estate financing and transactions. In addition to its offices in Mainz (headquarters) and Münster, it has national operations in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Mannheim and international operations via a branch in London as well as representative offices in Madrid, New York, Paris and, since January 1, 2007, also in Warsaw.
